Jason was presumed dead when he disappeared in late 2021. When he returned in March, it was revealed that he had been taken by the FBI and forced to work for them as an informant.

If Jason didn’t do what Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) wanted, then Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) would go to prison for 20 years for RICOH violations.

Although Jason’s cover was blown, Cates insisted that Jason continue to work for him until the Pikeman Group was taken down. We’ve also recently learned that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has been a part of Pikeman all along.
